1935 Audi 225 Cabriolet – Complete Historic Restoration

After sitting untouched and rusting for over 50 years in Lakeland, Florida, this rare Audi 225 was rescued and fully restored by the Cerf Motorworks team. Our expert craftsmen brought this historic vehicle back to life, overcoming extensive deterioration and a lack of available parts. The team fabricated hubcaps from scratch, recast essential components, and meticulously rebuilt the car into the rolling piece of history you see today.

1932 Citroën Half-Track – Full Historic Restoration

When this rare 1932 Citroën Half-Track arrived at Cerf Motorworks, it was little more than a rusted shell—missing parts, covered in decades of grime, and far from operational. Our team carried out a full frame-off restoration, rebuilding the drivetrain, fabricating missing body panels, and restoring the unique Kégresse rubber track system. Every detail was brought back to life with historical accuracy and mechanical precision. Today, this military-era vehicle stands as a fully functional, museum-quality example of early off-road innovation—reborn from the ground up.

1932 Citroën Half-Track – Full Historic Restoration

This rare 1953 Grégoire Coupe arrived at Cerf Motorworks in a severely deteriorated state — faded paint, corroded trim, missing headlights, and extensive body damage. The restoration team completely disassembled the vehicle, carefully repairing and reshaping the lightweight aluminum body panels by hand. Every component of the grille and badging was restored or fabricated to match original specifications. The finishing touch was a flawless, period-correct cream paint job, polished to a deep shine that highlights the car’s elegant lines. Today, the Grégoire Coupe is not only drivable, but a showpiece example of true craftsmanship and attention to detail.

1929 Ford Model A – Classic Restoration with a Custom Touch

This 1929 Ford Model A came to Cerf Motorworks as a well-preserved survivor, but one in need of renewed life and character. Our team carried out a full exterior restoration, highlighted by a striking new green paint scheme that pays tribute to period-correct colors while adding a bold visual statement. The original chrome, wheels, and trim were carefully restored to their former glory, and the roof rack was preserved to maintain the car’s unique personality. The result is a refreshed American classic that blends authenticity with timeless curb appeal.

1936 Tatra T75 – Elegant European Restoration

This rare Czechoslovakian cabriolet arrived at Cerf Motorworks with heavy wear, faded paint, and mechanical neglect. Our team undertook a full restoration, returning the T75 to its original elegance and engineering excellence. The body was carefully repaired and refinished in a refined two-tone scheme, and the interior and convertible top were fully rebuilt using period-correct materials. Every component, from the drivetrain to the trim, was restored to factory condition, highlighting the aerodynamic styling and advanced engineering that made Tatra a standout in pre-war automotive history.

1961 Citroën 2CV Sahara – Dual-Engine Precision Restoration

Built for rugged terrain and remote exploration, the Citroën 2CV Sahara is a rare engineering marvel with dual engines and four-wheel drive. When this example arrived at Cerf Motorworks, it needed extensive mechanical and cosmetic attention. Our team carried out a full restoration, carefully rebuilding both powertrains, restoring the body to its original utilitarian design, and refinishing it in a period-correct gray. Every detail was brought back to life, making this off-road icon once again ready for the trail.

1939 Amilcar Compound – Precision Vintage Service & Mechanical Restoration

This innovative pre-war French automobile received a full suite of mechanical services from the Cerf Motorworks team. Work included careful inspection and restoration of the drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems, with a focus on preserving the vehicle’s unique aluminum chassis and front-wheel-drive layout. Every component was evaluated, repaired, or rebuilt to ensure road-ready performance while maintaining historical accuracy. The result is a finely tuned example of engineering ahead of its time.

1961 Deutsch-Bonnet Le Mans – Fiberglass Restoration with Unmatched Precision

The restoration of the 1961 Deutsch-Bonnet Le Mans at Cerf Motorworks highlights the dedication and precision required to preserve such a rare, lightweight fiberglass-bodied race car. Known for its complex contours and sharp body lines, the vehicle required extensive prep work to achieve a flawless paint finish—a process that had to be redone to perfectly match the original color. From sourcing exact-fit weather stripping to carefully reconstructing the dashboard, vinyl, and carpet, every element of this Le Mans racer was approached with accuracy and respect for the vehicle’s heritage. Despite delays and challenges, the result is a striking, museum-quality example of post-war European design and craftsmanship,
